Mead O'Brien, a leading provider of valves, valve automation, instrumentation and steam specialties is seeking a Professional Sales Representative for its Kansas City, MO Branch Office.
We're seeking a professional, that has a desire to succeed, learn, and grow an established territory to another level.
The Sales Representative is responsible to promote Mead O'Brien's corporate culture, mission and vision within the Kansas City, Northwestern Missouri, Des Moines, IA and Omaha, NE markets. The Representative must be able to develop customer relationships and be knowledgeable of the territory's overall business environment including customer base, manufacturers, competition, workforce and business operations. The industries covered include chemicals, power, refining, food, industrial and institutional markets. Manufacturers represented include: Armstrong International, Ashcroft, Foxboro, Jamesbury, Limitorque, Parker Hannifin.
Responsibilities include direct sales, working with current customers, along with business development of new customers. In addition to providing technical solutions, the Sales Representative should be able to identify opportunities through problem solving, qualifying and building customer relationships. We believe in personal development and will support that growth by providing professional sales and product training.
